Over the years, Xi’an Honghui Hospital has adhered to the principle of coordinated development of medicine, teaching and research, and established teaching relations with multiple universities. In 1998, it officially became an affiliated hospital of Xi’an Medical University (Shaanxi medicine-specialized institute of higher learning). The hospital receives approximately 100 trainees and interns majoring in Medical Imaging each year. In the 21 years of cooperation with institutes of higher learning, the hospital has received more than 2,200 students majoring in Medical Imaging and more than 300 students majoring in Medical Laboratory. The hospital established a teaching relationship with Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine in 2009, and in 2010 established the “Clinical Teaching Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine” which has received more than 350 interns by far. In 2015, the hospital established a teaching relationship with the Medical School of Yan’an University, and began to receive interns from the Medical School of Yan’an University since 2017, with a total of 23 interns from 2017 to 2018. In recent years, the hospital has established teaching relations with Xi’an Health School, Shaanxi Energy Institute, Xianyang Vocational and Technical College, and Xi’an Medical College successively. The hospital receives more than 90 students majoring in Medical Laboratory, Rehabilitation, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Stomatology, etc. on average per year.
