The results of the selection of ten major events of the Hospital in 2017, which were widely participated by the staff of the Hospital, have been announced. After a vote by various departments and a comprehensive evaluation and discussion by the President’s Office, the “Ten Major Events of Xi’an Honghui Hospital in 2017” were selected. The specific contents are as follows:

1. The Statue of Mr. Kang Yiru, the first director of the Hospital, was completed;

2. The Hospital successfully passed the grade reexamination of grade-three class-A hospital;

3. The Hospital was awarded the “May Day Labor Award”;

4. 2017 Silk Road International Orthopedic Summit Forum was successfully held;

5. The Hospital obtained 6 national natural science foundations and 18 postdoctoral science foundations;

6. The Hospital has successfully completed the tasks of targeted poverty alleviation and health poverty alleviation of 2017 Annual “Two Connections and One Assistance”;

7. The official website of the Hospital won the title of “Excellent Official Website” of the National Health and Family Planning Commission;

8. The Hospital ranked first in the comprehensive evaluation of 13 non-directly affiliated hospitals of the Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center in 2017;

9. The Hospital was assessed as a specialized training base for orthopaedics by the National Health and Family Planning Commission;

10. Feng Yining and Xu Peng were awarded the honorary title of Advanced Worker of National Health and Family Planning System and “Good Doctor like Bethune” of Chinese Medical Doctor Association respectively.
